It is vital that we continue to develop the skills of the future. I want young people to leave schools and colleges better equipped to enter the workforce, which is why I have advocated so hard for better quality apprenticeships.
I have put fairer funding for schools at the core of my advocacy in parliament having previously been the vice-Chair of the cross party f40 campaign. I regularly meet with Education Ministers to advocate for higher funding for schools in Worcestershire.
I have long advocated for a new medical school in the City and will continue to press for this in both Worcester and Westminster with my Ministerial colleagues.
